I Fell Off: Whoops

by | Jul 20, 2025 | Fitness, Health & Wellness, Transformation

I fell off.

Off the routine, off the rhythm, off the things I promised myself I’d stick to.

Not all is lost, though. Falling off is part of life, of progress, and of change. We fall, we get back up. The stumble doesn’t nearly matter as the response to it, and this time, getting back up feels so much different.

Something shifted in me these past few weeks. A discomfort. It was subtle at first. Then, it got sharper.
I’ve quietly cut ties with people – one was gentle, the other wasn’t mine to make, but I’ve felt the weight lift regardless. In hindsight, these relationships were quietly burdening me. Their presence took up more space than I cared to give.

Their absence created room for me. My needs, my thoughts, my wants – they are all my centre focus. They no longer compete with noise I didn’t realise was so loud.

It won’t be easy. Letting go of people you relied on is never simple. It leaves a strange kind of quiet. But in that quiet, I’m feeling something good. Honest. Mine. Finally.

From tomorrow, I start a new workout plan: 24 weeks. A structured return to myself. I’ve made other changes, too – little ones that feel big in the soul. Shifts I know I’ll feel the benefits of in time. I can feel them already.

I’ll be updating this blog weekly with a photo. Not for accountability. or praise, but as a marker. A breadcrumb trail back to myself.

How do you deal with a sudden shift in pattern – whether it was your choice or someone else’s?
Did it improve or derail your life?
What helped you steady yourself when things changed unexpectedly?

I’d love to hear your thoughts. Sometimes the shift is the breakthrough.
